How to add a new listing to NYS MLS

The below recording link shows you how to add a new listing to StreetEasy. This is an example only.
When submitting a new listing, price change or status change on NYS MLS, this is the process:
– Agent inputs listing data into NYS MLS
– Agent sends listing to APPROVAL queue (Agents no longer need to upload a copy of the listing when entering the listing into NYSMLS )
– Agents MUST email a copy of the complete listing paperwork to East Coast at frontdesk@eastcoast.nyc
If you request a price change or status change you must send the office the appropriate signed paperwork
IF YOU DO NOT EMAIL YOUR PAPERWORK TO THE OFFICE WE CAN NOT APPROVE YOUR LISTING OR CHANGES
– East Coast will then review the listing paperwork as well as the draft listing that the agent has entered (East Coast will then approve or reject the listing) Information on the paperwork must match what has been entered into NYS MLS EXACTLY
– All listings, price changes and status changes will be approved within 48 business hours from the time that the office receives your paperwork via email
– If an agent does not email their listing paperwork to East Coast, their listing will not be approved, there are no exceptions
LOCKED LISTINGS: When you submit any change for approval, the listing will automatically lock and not allow you to make additional edits until East Coast has either approved or rejected your requested change.
Please note that open house requests do not need East Coast approval
The below zip codes are exclusive to StreetEasy. If you add a sale or rental in one of these zip codes to NYS MLS it will not syndicate to Zillow. You must add it to StreetEasy in order for it to syndicate to Zillow.
